What is TikTok Shop?
TikTok Shop is a social commerce platform integrated directly into the TikTok app, allowing businesses to sell products through live streams, shoppable videos, and a dedicated storefront. With TikTok’s massive user base and engaging content format, TikTok Shop enables brands to reach customers where they’re already spending time and make purchases without leaving the app. What Does the Integration Do?
The TikTok Shop integration lets you review and process TikTok Shop returns from your Redo dashboard. When a customer requests a return through TikTok Shop, Redo automatically creates a corresponding return for you to manage. When you approve or reject the return in Redo, the decision syncs back to TikTok Shop automatically. This integration requires that your TikTok Shop orders sync to Shopify through TikTok’s built-in Shopify integration. Redo uses the synced Shopify order data to match products and process returns. How it works
- A customer initiates a return on TikTok Shop (refund, return and refund, or replacement request).
- TikTok sends a webhook to Redo, which automatically creates a return with the matched Shopify order and line items.
- You review and process the return in Redo — approve or reject individual items.
- Redo syncs your decision back to TikTok Shop:
- Approved returns are approved on TikTok, including support for returnless refunds (green returns where the buyer keeps the item).
- Rejected returns (all items rejected) are rejected on TikTok with a valid reject reason.
Optional: Redo return labels
You can configure Redo to generate return shipping labels and upload them to TikTok Shop. When enabled, Redo creates the label and sends it (shipping label or QR code, depending on TikTok’s configuration) back to TikTok so the customer can use it to ship their return. How to Set It Up
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:TikTok Shop connected to Shopify

Configuration Steps
Authorize the Connection

Configure Return Labels (Optional)
If you want Redo to generate and upload return shipping labels to TikTok, you must contact TikTok Shop to ensure that your Shop is configured to use Redo shipping labels. Once your TikTok Shop seller account has been configured, enable the Use Redo Return Labels setting.
How Long Does It Take?
Setup Timeline
| Step | Time | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Initial Connection | 3-5 minutes | OAuth authentication with TikTok Shop |
| Configuration | 5-10 minutes | Configure return label settings |
| First Return Test | 5-10 minutes | Create test order and verify return flow |
| Total Setup | 15-25 minutes | Complete setup for most merchants |
Operational Timing
Return Creation
Automatic — When a customer requests a return on TikTok Shop, Redo creates the return within moments of receiving the webhook. This will also create any Return Authorizations for your configured WMS/3PL integrations (such as NetSuite or ShipHero), the same way they would be created for a return created through the Redo return portal.
Label Upload
Automatic — If Redo return labels are enabled, the label is generated and uploaded to TikTok Shop when the return is created.
