What is FedEx Easy Returns?

FedEx Easy Returns is a returns service that provides boxless returns — customers can drop off their return items at a nearby FedEx Easy Returns location without needing to package them. This offers a more convenient return experience at a lower cost than traditional shipping.
FedEx Easy Returns is not the same as Inmar, which provides return dispositioning and inspection services. These are separate integrations.

What Does the Integration Do?

When a customer initiates a return with a merchant that has FedEx Easy Returns enabled, Redo can show a list of nearby drop-off locations. If the customer chooses a FedEx Easy Returns location:
  1. A label fee is still charged to the customer.
  2. Redo creates a return in FedEx Easy Returns, which generates a QR code.
  3. The customer takes the QR code to the drop-off location — no packaging required.
  4. Redo receives webhook notifications from FedEx Easy Returns to track when the customer has delivered their items.

How to Set It Up

Phase 1: Submit Onboarding Form to FER

Complete these steps to kick off account creation with the FedEx Easy Returns team.

Download the Locations Spreadsheet

Download the .xlsx locations template from the FER Locations Spreadsheet Template.

Fill Out the Spreadsheet

Enter the brand’s ship-to location(s) in the spreadsheet. Fill out every column — incomplete submissions will delay setup.

Submit the Onboarding Form

Go to the FedEx Easy Returns Onboarding Form and complete it. Attach the completed locations spreadsheet on the last question of the form.

Phase 2: Create Test Orders and Contact Redo

Once you’ve submitted the onboarding form, create 2 test orders in your store, then send the order numbers to support@getredo.com. The Redo team will use these to verify the integration is working correctly and complete the setup on our end.
