# MarketingAutomationCategory

> Which trigger family a marketing automation belongs to. Every category here can send email or SMS; the category is copied from the automation's trigger.

| Value | Description |
| - | - |
| `CUSTOM_EVENT` | Sends triggered by a merchant-defined event. |
| `EXTENDED_WARRANTY` | Extended-warranty notifications. Email only. |
| `HSA` | HSA/FSA order notifications. Email only. |
| `INTEGRATION` | Sends triggered by a connected integration, such as a loyalty milestone. |
| `MARKETING` | Marketing sends. |
| `ORDER_TRACKING` | Shipping and delivery notifications. |
| `RETURN_TRACKING` | Return status notifications. |
