# CreateMarketingAutomationInput

> Creates a disabled automation unless `enabled` is true. The flow starts as the chosen trigger followed by an end step. `date` and `price_drop` triggers are not accepted here.

  Whether the automation is running. Defaults to false.

  Required when `triggerKey` is `custom_event`. The merchant-defined event name.

  The merchant-facing name of the automation.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="triggerKey" type="String!" required>
  A trigger `key` from marketingAutomationCatalog. Unknown keys return UNKNOWN\_TRIGGER.
