# ConsolidationItemKind

> What a unit inside a consolidation represents.

| Value | Description |
| - | - |
| `PRODUCT` | A unit identified against the merchant's catalog. Carries a SKU and the return it came back on. |
| `RETURN` | A whole return tracked as a single unit. Its pieces are the return's declared line items. |
| `UNDECLARED` | An extra unit found in a return that matches none of its declared lines. |
| `UNKNOWN` | A unit that could not be matched to a product or return. |
