# subscriptionDeliveryProfileUpdate

> Turn the Shopify delivery profile for subscriptions and pre-orders on or off, and return it. Turning it on writes to Shopify: it reuses the stored profile if that still exists there, so it's safe to retry after a failure. Turning it off leaves the profile on Shopify and only stops Redo updating it. Changing a setting that's on, or turning one on or off, reaches shoppers right away, so it fails with STOREFRONT_SETTING_LIVE (409) and changes nothing unless `confirmLiveChange` is true. Null if the store has no Shopify integration.

**Required scopes:** [`checkout_settings_write`](https://developers.redo.com/docs/api-reference/v3/reference/scopes#scope-checkout_settings_write)

## Arguments

**input** `[SubscriptionDeliveryProfileUpdateInput!](/docs/api-reference/v3/reference/checkout/subscription-delivery-profile-update-input)` *required*

The change to make.

**fields**

**confirmLiveChange** `Boolean`

Set true to allow a change that reaches shoppers.

**enabled** `Boolean!` *required*

True creates the profile on Shopify, or updates the stored one. False stops Redo updating it but leaves it on Shopify.

## Returns

**subscriptionDeliveryProfileUpdate** `[SubscriptionDeliveryProfile](/docs/api-reference/v3/reference/checkout/subscription-delivery-profile)`

A separate Shopify delivery profile for subscription and pre-order selling plans.

**fields**

**enabled** `Boolean!` *required*

Whether Redo keeps the store's subscription and pre-order selling plans in the profile.

**shopifyDeliveryProfileId** `String`

The Shopify delivery profile's id. It stays after turning this off, because the profile stays on Shopify.

## Example

```graphql theme={null}
mutation {
  subscriptionDeliveryProfileUpdate(input: { ... }) {
    enabled
    shopifyDeliveryProfileId
  }
}
```
