# checkoutDiscountRuleDelete

> Permanently delete a checkout discount rule. When discount rules are on, the store's live checkout discount is updated right away. An id from another account, or one that does not exist, returns false.

## Arguments

**input** `[CheckoutDiscountRuleDeleteInput!](/docs/api-reference/v3/reference/checkout/checkout-discount-rule-delete-input)` *required*

The rule to delete.

**id** `ID!` *required*

The rule's id.

## Returns

**checkoutDiscountRuleDelete** `Boolean!` *required*
