# CheckoutAbTestStartStatus

> What `checkoutAbTestStart` did.

| Value | Description |
| - | - |
| `INVALID` | Nothing changed: `diagnostics` says why. |
| `NEEDS_ACKNOWLEDGEMENT` | Nothing changed. Review `risks`, then call again with their codes in `acknowledgedRisks`. |
| `STALE` | The test didn't start: a tree was published since `expectedRevision`. It stays queued, at the back if it had to be requeued. Review the live tree, then use the new `revision`. |
| `STARTED` | The test's tree is live and the test is running. Check `synced`: false means Shopify didn't take the new config. |
